Heathrow rail engineering works: 16 & 17 November

Due to planned engineering works, there will be no Heathrow Express or Elizabeth line services to or from Heathrow on Saturday 16 November and Sunday 17 November.

Piccadilly line services will be running as normal on both days.


Passengers should plan their journeys before travelling, and allow for additional time where necessary as trains that are running will be much busier than normal.

Buses and coaches to train stations

Buses and coaches run regularly between Heathrow Airport and National Rail stations at Feltham, Guildford, Reading, Watford Junction and Woking.

You can buy a combined train and bus or coach ticket when travelling via Feltham, Guildford, Reading or Woking. Prices of combined tickets are not necessarily cheaper than purchasing separate tickets for each part of the journey. Please check service providers' websites.

The 285 and 490 buses runs from Heathrow to Feltham (for trains to Richmond, Camberley, Bracknell, London Waterloo, Clapham Junction and the South).

The RailAir RA2 coach service runs from Heathrow Terminal 2 (Stops 11-12), Terminal 3 (Stops 7-8) and Terminal 5 to Guildford Railway Station (for trains to Farnham, Portsmouth and the North Downs).

Green Line route 724 (picking up from Heathrow Terminal 5 (Bus stop 8) and Heathrow Central Bus Station for Terminals 2 and 3), and RailAir RA3 (picking up from bus stops 11-12 at Terminal 2 and bus stops 7-8 at Terminal 3) runs from Heathrow to Watford Junction (for trains to the Midlands, Manchester, Liverpool, north-west England and Scotland).
