Heathrow rail engineering works: 16 & 17 November

Due to planned engineering works, there will be no Heathrow Express or Elizabeth line services to or from Heathrow on Saturday 16 November and Sunday 17 November.

Piccadilly line services will be running as normal on both days.


Passengers should plan their journeys before travelling, and allow for additional time where necessary as trains that are running will be much busier than normal.

A Dior Holiday Story at Heathrow  

If you are travelling through Heathrow this festive season, then don’t be surprised to be struck with a scent of style and sophistication in the air as the magic of Dior comes to the Terminals. Passengers from all over the world will have the chance to be enchanted by the legendary Christian Dior Parfums as they make their way through the airport this holiday season.

Until mid-January, the House will spread its magic throughout the airport, both Landside and Airside, with magnificent custom-designed decorations. So, whether you are jetting off on holiday or simply picking up a loved one from their travels, you will have the chance to bask in the beauty of the beautifully bespoke festive décor.  

The enchanting journey begins as guests are greeted by 11 to 22-foot holiday trees that stand proudly in their new home for the holidays. They are a grand representation of Christian Dior’s iconic legacy, featuring over 10,000 handmade floral ornaments and dozens of shimmering butterfly ornaments that are illuminated for a touch of extra festive magic. The trees are finished with the legendary Dior fragrance bottles, circled by hundreds of captivating fairy lights.  

Passengers will be welcomed by hosts from the house dressed in bellman attire and inviting guests to discover The Dior Atelier of Dreams holiday animations. This brings the mystical magic of the Tuileries Garden for a touch of French excellence to Britain’s busiest airport. 

‘Tis the season of giving (a little extra) with Dior this Christmas  

Dior’s Art of Giving services are available at every animation space in the airport, giving guests the chance to add an extra special touch to their holiday gift selections with services such as engraving and much more.  

Exclusively at Heathrow, this bespoke and one-of-a-kind holiday collaboration is unique to the bustling London airport, helping to bring the delightful Dior dream to life.
