Changes to Terminal 4 parking from 23 June

From 23 June 2026, the Terminal 4 multi-storey car park (for Terminal and Meet & Greet Parking) has closed as part of a major redevelopment programme to modernise the terminal's forecourts and car park, improving passenger experience.

All passenger parking for Terminal 4 will move to Zone A of the Terminal 4 Park & Ride car park.

Piccadilly line closure: 1-2 August

Due to planned industrial action, there will be no Piccadilly line London Underground service to or from Heathrow on Saturday 1 August and Sunday 2 August. A normal service is expected on Monday 3 August.

 

Heathrow Express, Elizabeth line, replacement buses and local bus services will run as normal on these days.

 

Please plan your journey before travelling to Heathrow and allow extra time where necessary, as these services will be busier than usual.

Toilets, showers and water fountains

Water fountains

We have over 100 water fountains across Heathrow’s four terminals. They're clearly sign-posted and located at most toilets where you are welcome to fill up your water bottles.

Toilets

Toilets are provided throughout Heathrow, in arrivals and departures, before and after security. Most include a unisex, wheelchair-accessible toilet. Occasionally the accessible toilet is located inside the men's and ladies' toilets. Parents travelling with children of the opposite sex are welcome to use the unisex accessible toilets.

Heathrow also offers inclusive toilets in selected areas in all terminals. They’re provided for parents, people with disabilities including hidden disabilities, caretakers, people of all gender identities or anyone who’d feel more comfortable using them over gender specific toilets.

Changing Places

Changing Places are available for departing passengers. Changing Places have additional equipment and space to use the toilets safely and comfortably.

Showers are available in the following lounges (fees apply)

  • Terminal 2: Plaza Premium Lounge (departure lounge - passenger area)
  • Terminal 3: Regus Express Business Lounge (check-in - public area)
  • Terminal 4: Plaza Premium Lounge (departure lounge - passenger area)
  • Terminal 4: SkyTeam (departure lounge - passenger area)
  • Terminal 4: The House (departure lounge - passenger area)
  • Terminal 5: Plaza Premium (departure lounge - passenger area)
