From Terminal 5, it’s easy to continue to all parts of the airport using the free trains, Tube and H30 bus. See the bus route maps and diagrams section below to download the Heathrow free travel map. Heathrow is a great transport hub with speedy connections to and from Central London and the South East, or for longer journeys by coach all over the UK.
Download the Go2Gate app from the App Store or Google Play. Follow the prompts on screen and you’re ready to book a ride. You can book up to 28 days in advance. The app will also take bookings up to a few minutes before you want to travel, although we may ask to pick you up or drop you off from a slightly different location in Dedworth to maintain journey times for all users.
The app will always tell you where to wait and keep you up to date. You can also track your bus on the app up to 30 minutes before it arrives.
From 27 October 2024, the Dedworth Zone will be extended to cover the following streets:
From the same date, the latest opportunity to travel from Terminal 5 will be extended from 23:45 to 00:05 following customer feedback. There will also be revised booking times early in the morning and late in the evening. Regular users of Go2Gate should check the Go2Gate App before you need to travel, as there may be differences to the journey opportunities compared to the previous arrangements.
All tickets must be booked on the app, including Team Heathrow and holders of English National Concessionary Passes. It is not possible to travel on Go2Gate minibuses without a valid booking.
Children under 5 travel free when accompanied but must sit on your lap if seats are needed for fare-paying passengers.
English National Concessionary Passes are accepted for free off-peak travel (Monday to Friday 09:30 – 23:00, anytime on Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays).

Go2Gate departs from bus stop 24 at Heathrow Terminal 5. You must have a valid booking to travel; you cannot board a Go2Gate minibus without one. For a map of roads served in Dedworth, please click here.

Go2Gate is not a traditional bus service. It is a flexible service and must comply with special rules that are stipulated by the Department for Transport. These rules include the requirement for all passengers to book in advance.
We recommend you wait until arriving at Heathrow and have passed through Customs and have all your luggage with you, before booking your journey from Heathrow to Dedworth. If you book in advance and are delayed on your flight to Heathrow, you may not be able to cancel your Go2Gate booking in time. Refunds are not possible if you do not cancel more than 20 minutes before the pick-up time.
Wheelchair users can reserve a specific wheelchair space when making their booking.
Only folding commuter bicycles such as Brompton or Tern are allowed onboard Go2Gate services.
Each passenger can bring two medium cases (70cm x 45cm x 30cm) or one large case (90cm x 75cm x 43cm). Passengers wishing to travel with two large cases will need to book a journey for two passengers.
Only assistance dogs are permitted on Go2Gate minibuses, travelling free of charge.
You can cancel your booking at any time until 20 minutes prior to your journey.
Select the correct number of passengers when searching for your preferred journey, and then click on “Add a discount/subscription” during the booking process.
