Graduate Future Leadership Development Programme
Join us as one of our graduates at this crucial period of growth and become part of a team that drives efficiency and innovation.
The 2-year Procurement and Supply Chain (PSC) Development Programme will set you up for success, through rotations within different teams in Procurement.
The development programme includes rotations such as:
You will get involved in a fascinating range of projects and tasks, growing your skill set every step of the way. With opportunities to gain experience across the department, from managing technology, carbon, sustainability and infrastructure supply chain events, preparing executive strategy papers to negotiating new partnerships. You will be adding real value to the business and building the relationships that will set you up for a future in Procurement.
You will develop your technical and practical capabilities, such as strategy writing, contract drafting and negotiation, supplier market engagement and tendering. During the programme, we will support you towards completing your Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) accreditation. On completion of the programme, you can then look to become a Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS).
Throughout the programme you will be supported by a dedicated mentor who can answer any questions you may have about the organisation and help you find solutions to any challenges you may face. Plus, you will have a ‘buddy’ to show you the ropes until you find your feet. In the final months of the programme, you will also have the support of a senior sponsor from our leadership team. They will be there to help you build your networks, challenge your thinking and unlock opportunities.
We are looking for graduates with a real interest in developing a breadth of understanding in Procurement, who seek to become our leaders of the future. You will need to have an analytical mind with strong numerical ability to help you work through challenges within the role. It’s important for you to demonstrate a ‘can-do’ attitude, integrity and a real passion for living our Heathrow values.
We will give you the scope to build upon your excellent communication skills and show you how you can use these to effectively influence and negotiate through your career. We are seeking our future leaders in Procurement, so you need a flair for problem solving as well as demonstrating drive and ambition.
There’s only one you, and therefore somewhere in the airport there likely exists a challenge or opportunity that can only be unlocked by your unique mix of skills and traits. Can you find it? – and more to the point, what will you do with it?
Our graduate programme for 2025 has now closed for applications.
