Piccadilly line industrial action: 2-4 June

Due to planned industrial action, there will be no Piccadilly line London Underground service to or from Heathrow on Tuesday 2 June and Thursday 4 June. A normal service is expected on Wednesday 3 June.

Heathrow Express, Elizabeth line, replacement buses and local bus services will run as normal on these days.

Please plan your journey before travelling to Heathrow and allow extra time where necessary, as these services will be busier than usual.

Who we support

We’re here for:

  • Passengers
  • Airport staff, across all roles and organisations
  • Visitors spending time at the airport

You don’t need to follow a religion to access our support.

A multi-faith team

Heathrow Multi-Faith Chaplaincy offers emotional, spiritual and practical support to passengers, visitors and airport colleagues of all faiths and none. Our chaplains can provide a listening ear during difficult moments, offer support through bereavement or crisis, and provide prayer or religious rites upon request and availability. The team includes Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Sikh and Buddhist faith representatives, and also supports those with no religious beliefs. Our approach is always respectful, non-judgemental and guided by what you need in that moment.

What we offer

Our chaplains can:

  • Listen during moments of stress, crisis or emotional difficulty
  • Support people through bereavement, trauma or major life events
  • Provide prayer or religious rites, if requested and subject to availability
  • Support the wellbeing and mental health of airport staff
  • Support the respectful use of the Multi Faith prayer rooms across the airport.
Our commitment

Everything we do is guided by a few clear principles:

  • Inclusive – open to everyone, whatever your faith and belief
  • Voluntary – support is offered, never imposed
  • Compassionate – we meet you where you are
