Summer has arrived at Heathrow, and we're bringing a little extra magic to passengers travelling through the airport over the holiday season.
This summer, Heathrow is welcoming some very special visitors - our enchanting summer fairies, who will be spreading smiles, surprises and seasonal cheer across the airport.

Say hello to the summer fairies

Our summer fairies will be fluttering across all the terminals, making appearances throughout the summer holidays.

Perfect for young travellers and families, the fairies will be roaming the terminals, creating magical moments, posing for photos and helping to kick-start your holiday before you've even left the ground.

More summer fun before you fly

From picking up holiday essentials and last-minute travel treats to enjoying a pre-flight meal together, Heathrow offers plenty of opportunities to start your holiday from the moment you arrive at the airport.

Refuel for less with kids eat free

Travelling with children this summer? Heathrow's popular kids eat free offer is back for the school holidays, helping families save money before they fly.

From 20 July to 1 September 2026, children can enjoy a free meal at participating restaurants when an accompanying adult purchases a main meal. With a variety of family-friendly dining options across the airport, it's the perfect way to keep little travellers happy before boarding.
