Heathrow rail engineering works: 16 & 17 November

Due to planned engineering works, there will be no Heathrow Express or Elizabeth line services to or from Heathrow on Saturday 16 November and Sunday 17 November.

Piccadilly line services will be running as normal on both days.

Passengers should plan their journeys before travelling, and allow for additional time where necessary as trains that are running will be much busier than normal.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Festive cheer and seasonal smiles can be seen all over London, filled with sparkling fairy lights and delightful decorations. The same cheer and buzz can be felt off the streets and within the UK’s biggest airport! If you are travelling through Heathrow this festive season, then we have an array of activities to add some extra seasonal sparkle to your travels.

Festive gifting made easier at Heathrow

If you’re a last-minute shopper and decided to leave some Christmas shopping right before catching your flight, then you’re in luck, as we have a bunch of special seasonal touches that’ll elevate your gifts that little bit more.

There will be gift-wrapping stations dotted around the Terminals, including personalised ribbon printing, and unique Christmas cards that can include a Polaroid printout. There will also be special chocolate offers to make your holiday gifting that little bit sweeter.

Don’t miss out on the unique claw machines in each terminal that include some amazing prizes, such as Bose speakers and gift sets from Rituals! Try your luck and make your airport journey a memorable one.
