London Underground strike action: 21-24 April

Due to planned strike action, there will be little to no service across all London Underground services, including the Piccadilly line to Heathrow, between 21 and 24 April 2026

Heathrow Express, Elizabeth line, and local bus services will run as normal on these days. Please plan your journey prior to travelling to Heathrow, and allow for extra time where necessary, as these services will be busier than normal.

China routes from Heathrow

Heathrow
Airlines and routes,
China’s cities are some of the most dynamic in the world, and Heathrow makes it easier than ever to reach them. From Chengdu to Shanghai, our routes connect the UK with China’s cultural, commercial and historic centres, helping travellers explore, reunite and do business with ease.

With 13 destinations served by eight airlines and a range of evening departures across multiple terminals, travellers can choose the route, time and fare that work best for them. It’s all part of what makes Heathrow the world’s most internationally connected airport, as recognised in OAG’s 2025 Megahubs Index.

There’s something for everyone across Heathrow’s broad Chinese network, with a variety of destinations opening the door to some of China’s most captivating cities. Whether you’re soaking up the tropical charm of Haikou’s palm-fringed beaches, exploring Beijing’s grand imperial landmarks, strolling along Qingdao’s scenic seaside promenades, or diving into the dynamic tech scene of Shenzhen, flights from Heathrow open the door to some of China’s most captivating cities.
