Heathrow's Noise and Airspace Community Forum (NACF) was established in 2022 and continues the work of the Heathrow Community Noise Forum (HCNF), which was set up in 2015 in response to local concerns regarding future changes to airspace as a result of the Government's airspace modernisation strategy. It is made up of representatives from local authorities around Heathrow, NATS, BA, DfT, CAA and Heathrow.
The purpose of the NACF is to:
Engage with local authority and community representatives on issues related to noise, airspace and runway operations at Heathrow;
Improve members’ understanding on issues related to these topics;
Listen to the key concerns of communities living around the airport, providing them with an opportunity to have their say;
Bring together industry, government and regulator, local authority and community representatives in one place to allow for an open dialogue with key stakeholders.
The next meeting will take place on 27th November 2024. There will be a public gallery at the meeting which is open to members of the public. If you would like to attend, please pre-register with us at noise@heathrow.com as there will only be a finite number of spaces available. Members of the public are able to observe but not ask questions at the meeting.
