From 23 June 2026, the Terminal 4 multi-storey car park (for Terminal and Meet & Greet Parking) has closed as part of a major redevelopment programme to modernise the terminal's forecourts and car park, improving passenger experience.
All passenger parking for Terminal 4 will move to Zone A of the Terminal 4 Park & Ride car park.
Due to planned industrial action, there will be no Piccadilly line London Underground service to or from Heathrow on Saturday 1 August and Sunday 2 August. A normal service is expected on Monday 3 August.
Heathrow Express, Elizabeth line, replacement buses and local bus services will run as normal on these days.
Please plan your journey before travelling to Heathrow and allow extra time where necessary, as these services will be busier than usual.
Emirates began flying in 1985 with just two aircraft. The airline grew rapidly. At the Dubai air show in 2007 it placed orders for 143 aircraft. Four years later it gave Boeing its largest-ever order in terms of value.
This airline is not currently a member of the main airline alliances. It may operate some routes under codeshare agreements (where partner airlines sell seats on the same aircraft, each using its own flight number). Your airline can advise whether this applies to any part of your journey.
