Heathrow rail engineering works: 16 & 17 November

Due to planned engineering works, there will be no Heathrow Express or Elizabeth line services to or from Heathrow on Saturday 16 November and Sunday 17 November.

Piccadilly line services will be running as normal on both days.


Passengers should plan their journeys before travelling, and allow for additional time where necessary as trains that are running will be much busier than normal.

In this section of our site you will find annual accounts for Heathrow Airport Holdings Limited, Heathrow Finance plc, Heathrow (SP) Limited, Heathrow Airport Limited and, for the years prior to the completion of their sales in December 2009 and February 2013, Stansted Airport Limited and Gatwick Airport Limited.

In October 2012 the Group changed the name of some of the companies within the group. The main changes from a reporting perspective are listed below:

  • BAA Limited was renamed to Heathrow Airport Holdings Limited
  • BAA (SH) plc was renamed to Heathrow Finance plc
  • BAA (SP) Limited was renamed to Heathrow (SP) Limited
  • BAA Funding Limited was renamed to Heathrow Funding Limited

As a consequence the Heathrow Group is referred to as the 'Group' in information given prior to the changes in names.

As part of the restructuring of the Group completed in 2008, Heathrow Finance plc and Heathrow (SP) Limited became new members of the Group and their annual accounts for 2008 are the first accounts to have been prepared.

The consolidated annual accounts of Heathrow Airport Holdings Limited,  Heathrow Finance plc and Heathrow (SP) Limited are prepared under international financial reporting standards. The accounts of Heathrow Airport Limited, Heathrow Funding Limited, Heathrow Express Operating Company Limited, Stansted Airport Limited and Gatwick Airport Limited are prepared under UK GAAP.

Heathrow is required to prepare regulatory accounts by the CAA with the primary purpose to serve regulation through providing a means of comparing the airport’s financial performance over the price control decision period with that on which the setting of price caps was predicted.
