London Underground strike action: 21-24 April

Due to planned strike action, there will be little to no service across all London Underground services, including the Piccadilly line to Heathrow, between 21 and 24 April 2026. 

 

Heathrow Express, Elizabeth line, and local bus services will run as normal on these days. Please plan your journey prior to travelling to Heathrow, and allow for extra time where necessary, as these services will be busier than normal.

Airside works

All works taking place in or impacting Heathrow Airside areas must be approved by the Heathrow Airside Operations Department. Applications for works are managed through an electronic permit process on the CMO platform.

To request a CMO account, please email Eng_Works_Notifications@heathrow.com requesting access to CMO Airside Works Applications with the following details:

  1.  Full name
  2. Email address
  3. Company name
