As part of the 2024-2028 Noise Action Plan, we have set out a number of actions with the aim of reducing the impact of noise on our communities.

This includes working with our airline partners to ensure that Heathrow operates with a ‘best in class’ fleet mix and to report on it annually. We will be reviewing the landing charges structure in order to meet our sustainable growth objectives and will be working with the Fleet Forecasting Forum to identify opportunities to evidence and incentivise the accelerated adoption of new technology at Heathrow with the aim of accelerating the transition to a quieter fleet.
