M25 Junction 10-11 Closure: 12-15 July

Due to planned works, the M25 will be shut between Junctions 10 (Wisley) and 11 (Chertsey) from 9pm on Friday 12 July, until 6am on Monday 15 July.

A diversion will be in place, however, journeys are expected to take much longer than usual.

Passengers planning to use this part of the M25 should allow for extra time when travelling to Heathrow during this period. For more information, please visit National Highways’ website.

Heathrow previously consulted on a proposed short-term change to the way some aircraft arrive at Heathrow.

This project was known as Independent Parallel Approaches (IPA) and involved some new arrival routes into Heathrow from the holding stacks. Some of these flight paths could have overflown areas that are not affected by Heathrow arrivals today.

We have discontinued this Airspace Change Proposal (ACP), due to the successful progression of our broader ACP for airspace modernisation.
