Heathrow rail engineering works: 16 & 17 November

Due to planned engineering works, there will be no Heathrow Express or Elizabeth line services to or from Heathrow on Saturday 16 November and Sunday 17 November.

Piccadilly line services will be running as normal on both days.

Passengers should plan their journeys before travelling, and allow for additional time where necessary as trains that are running will be much busier than normal.

Commercial concessions team

At Heathrow Airport the Commercial Concessions team is passionate about making every journey better for the 185,000 passengers who pass through our terminals every day.

With a unique audience made up of some of the nation's most influential decision-makers and investors as well as sports teams and holidaymakers, it is essential that we get the balance right. We do this by focussing on unmatchable customer service and working with our partners to provide a wide-range of products and services to suit everyone's needs.

With over 420,000 sq ft of retail space across four terminals, we pride ourselves in having one of the most sought-after locations in the world. We currently have 345 retail and food and beverage units which cover the full spectrum from internationally renowned brands to quintessentially British.

Some frequently asked questions

Q: What sort of rent would my business be expected to pay?

A: This is our most popular question and the answer depends on a number of variables. Our retail contracts are concession agreements of at least three years in length and financial terms are a percentage of net sales or a guaranteed minimum sum, whichever is the greater. Retail concession fees can vary by product category and location.

Q: I have seen some kiosk-style units. Are these readily available?

A: We have a limited number of flexible island spaces in our terminals which change on a regular basis. If you have an operating partnership with an existing airport operator, you may be interested in these short term opportunities.
